What is the application of graphite rotor in industrial production

The purification process of liquid aluminum alloy is the primary means to improve the comprehensive performance of aluminum alloy. In the purification process, the purified gas is mixed with the solvent, and the graphite rotor spin blowing method is used to purify the aluminum melt, which is the most advanced processing method in the world.
         The working principle of the graphite rotor is: the rotating rotor breaks the nitrogen (or argon) blown into the aluminum melt into many scattered bubbles, which are dispersed in the molten metal. In the melt, the bubbles use the principle of gas partial pressure difference and surface adsorption to absorb hydrogen in the melt and adsorb oxide slag. As the bubbles rise, they are taken out of the melt surface, thereby purifying the melt. Because the bubbles are dispersed and dense, they are evenly mixed with the rotating melt, and then slowly rise in a spiral shape. If it is in contact with the melt for a long time, it will not form a continuous straight upward air flow, thereby removing harmful hydrogen in the aluminum melt and significantly improving the purification effect.
        The graphite rotor rotating nozzle is made of high-purity graphite, and the surface has undergone special anti-oxidation treatment. Its service life is about 3 times that of ordinary products. It is widely used in the aluminum alloy casting industry, and has a service life of up to 2 months in aluminum plate and aluminum foil casting, aluminum alloy wheel hub and other aluminum processing industries.
      1. The graphite rotor rotating nozzle is made of high-purity graphite. In addition to taking into account the dispersion of bubbles, the nozzle structure also uses the centrifugal force generated by mixing the aluminum alloy melt to evenly mix the melt entering the nozzle with the horizontally erupting gas to form a gas/liquid jet, which increases the contact between the bubbles and the aluminum alloy liquid. area and contact time to improve the degassing and purification effect.
     2. The graphite rotor speed can be adjusted steplessly through the frequency converter, and the maximum speed can reach 700 rpm. The graphite rotor size is medium-sized 70mm~250mm, and the impeller size is medium-sized 85mm~350mm. The high-purity anti-oxidation graphite rotor has the characteristics of high strength, high temperature resistance, and aluminum flow corrosion resistance. During the purification and degassing process, nitrogen gas is introduced into the aluminum alloy liquid surface in the box for covering and protection, so that the part of the graphite rotor exposed to the aluminum alloy liquid is in inert gas to prevent the rotor from being exposed to high temperatures. The lower portion is oxidized to extend the life of the rotor.
      3. The shape of the impeller is streamlined, which can reduce the resistance during rotation. The friction and scouring force between the impeller and the aluminum alloy liquid are also relatively small. Therefore, the degassing rate is above 50%, the exercise time is shortened, and the production cost is reduced.
