Graphite mold manufacturing processing technology classification

Those who have worked in molds know that the molds for producing and processing metal materials are classified according to the selected manufacturing process. Common ones are: stamping dies, including cold stamping dies, bending dies, deep drawing dies, turning dies, shrinking and loosening dies, and fluctuations. Molds, bulging molds, plastic beauty molds, etc.; forging dies, including forging dies for die forging, upsetting dies, etc.; and extrusion molding dies and die-casting dies. The molds used for the production and processing of non-metallic materials and powder metallurgy are named and classified according to the production and processing goals. There are molds, vulcanized rubber molds and powder metallurgy molds.

Then the graphite die stamping die is an abrasive tool that is formed and separated from the thick plate stamping die. The molding mill has a concave mold, and the separating mill has a tooth surface. Common stamping dies can only have one fixture for one manufacturing process. This kind of abrasive tool is widely used, simple in structure, and very easy to manufacture, but the productivity is low. In order to improve production efficiency, multiple stamping die process flows, such as blanking, deep drawing, punching machine, trimming, etc., can be allocated to one abrasive tool, so that the blanks can be processed in multiple stamping die process flows on one fixture , This type of abrasive tool is called a composite mold. In addition, multiple processes such as blanking, bending, deep drawing, punching and edge trimming are allocated to different fixtures of an abrasive tool. During the whole process of the stamping die, the blank is successively stamped according to the multiple fixtures. Forming, the final tooling fixture becomes a production, this kind of abrasive tool is called a stamping die, also known as a continuous die.

Extrusion mould is an abrasive tool used to extrude metal material into shape. The positive extrusion molding die has a stationary cavity, an extrusion molding cylinder for placing the blank, and a punching needle that presses the blank. The extrusion molding cylinder of the reverse extrusion molding die is a cavity, and the punching needle is a die seat. Because metal materials can only be extruded from the cavity under a fairly large gas pressure, the extrusion molding cylinder and the back extrusion molding cavity must have high compressive strength, so double-layer prestressed steel bars are used Composition structure. The working length of the punching needle and the mold base should be short to prevent instability and bending under high ground stress.

The characteristics of the stamping die are: high precision, precise specifications, the gap between the die seat and the cavity of some punching dies tends to 0; the stamping die speed is faster, and the stamping die can be stamped dozens of times more than 100 times per minute; Long life, some ferrite core cold stamping dies have a service life of millions of times.

The forging mold is an abrasive tool for forging a hot metal material. During die forging, the blank material usually undergoes several deformations before it can be made into steel castings, which requires a number of concave dies to be engraved on a control module. The metal material is sent to each cavity one after another, and plastically deforms and fluidizes in the cavity, and finally fills the cavity to make a steel casting. In die forging, the blank material cannot have the same volume as the die volume in the final forging. In order to prevent waste, a slightly larger blank material is often used. Therefore, burr grooves are set around the concave die of the upper and upper die split pages of the final forging die to store unnecessary metal materials, and the burrs are cut off after forming.

The technical characteristics of the forging die are: there are several complicated concave dies; the working standard is extreme, the red steel at about 1000℃ deforms and fluidity erosion in the abrasive die; the abrasive has to bear the high-speed impact of the forging hammer In the whole process of application, it is often in the situation of chilling, hot and hot and cold alternately. Therefore, metal materials should have high compressive strength, ductility and wear resistance. It must have higher temperature compressive strength and strength during hot forging, and undergo toughening and tempering treatment.

The die-casting mold is installed on the aluminum die-casting machine, and the shape memory alloy can be introduced into the concave mold under high pressure, and the pressure can be maintained to the condensed and formed abrasive tool of the metal material. It is suitable for aluminum, zinc, copper parts, and can also be used for cast iron parts. The structure of the die-casting mold is similar to that of the plastic injection mold. It is composed of a movable mold and a fixed mold to form a concave mold, and a core is used as the cavity of the casting. After the metal material is cooled and condensed in the cavity, the core is drawn out, and the abrasive tool is separated.

Castings are generally thin and hollow, with many girds and ribs, cumbersome in structure, more precise specifications, and smoother surface. Because the metal material is formed under the high temperature of melting, the die-casting mold must be made of heat-resistant raw materials.
